I've always loved knitting cables. They make knitting interesting, and are a wonderful mindfulness practice.

I also love Celtic knotwork - Celtic interlace designs. When I learned that my ancestors came from Scotland centuries ago, my enthusiasm made sense.

Like knitting, Celtic knotwork takes a strand and weaves it in mysterious ways to create something beautiful. As strands are 'interlaced', they tell a story of one thread with no beginning and no end, that weaves through life to connect us all.
